To the internet’s pleasure, he had interacted with the inescapable tracks thanks to his younger son, Bryce James. LeBron shared how his entire family was on TikTok and found several people hopping on the buzz. They had quite the laugh, however, he had missed out on “The Baylor Choir,” which he promised to give a listen.

My youngest son, Bryce, actually showed me one yesterday and we got a good laugh out of it. There are quite a few out there.

The TikTok trend focused on making a track surrounding LeBron James‘s name in the main chorus. It was started with the users experimenting on the platform Soundcloud and posting on X. The song “LeBron LeBron LeBron James” was posted early in March and quickly gained traction to more than a million viewers. Over a catchy R&B tune, it raps the name of the athlete over and over again, immersing the fans in guilty pleasure.

However, this was not the first time LeBron James was the center of a trend or a meme. Previously, the NBA star has contributed a lot to the field of memetics. James’ in-game moments with the players, behind-the-scenes clips, media interactions and more have often made rounds on social media. Not just that, he is also renowned for his sense of humor that he displays on his Instagram.

American singer admits taking inspiration from LeBron James for album

LeBron James as an inspiration has served more than just members. American singer Gracie Abrams released a deluxe version of her album “The Secret Of Us,” where she found an unexpected muse. On her song “That’s So True”, she sang, “Smiling through it all, yeah, that’s my life,” which was a viral meme. The lyrics were an iconic post made by LeBron James as a response to a critic. At the time, news anchor Laura Ingraham asked the athlete to focus on his game instead of expressing his views on politics.

He had then taken a jab at her with the dialogue alongside a picture of himself enjoying a pool. It had made an impression with the audience and lingered on social media for quite some time. While it became dormant, it remained on fans like Gracie Abrams. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she expressed how the meme was a recurring phenomenon in her life.

She would exchange the post with her best friend and co-writer of the song, Audrey Hobert, whenever they were sad. Not just that, she also had a blanket with just the LeBron James meme printed on it. The track was the singer’s first Billboard Hot 100 top-10 track. It stayed there for six weeks, only giving evidence to the NBA star’s massive fanbase.
