LeBron James’ triple-double seals LA Lakers triumph over Warriors in exquisite fashion
Stephen Curry and LeBron James
Often when a team needs a leader the most, LeBron James has stepped up. Even on this occasion, when the LA Lakers’ young roster has been looking for some inspiration, LeBron King James was surely leaving no stone unturned to lead as an example. LeBron notched a massive triple-double to help his team get past Golden State Warriors. He scored 22 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
However, it was not LeBron James who eld the offensive chart for the LA Lakers this time. Rather it was Montrezl Harrell who scored 27 points in just 25 minutes to help LA Lakers register a 31-point victory over the Stephen Curry led Warriors. Kyle Kuzma and Talen Horton-Tucker were too impressive having to add 17 and 18 points respectfully.
LeBron James leads LA Lakers past Warriors
Talking about the Golden State Warriors, it was Stephen Curry who led them with 27 points having played for 29 minutes. But unlike their previous game against the Utah Jazz, Curry found no help from any of his teammate this time around. J.Poole scored 14, while Andre Wiggins added 15 points for the Dubs. The Warriors have now lost 5 out of their 6 previous games in this season.
This was undoubtedly one of the most dominant performances by the LA Lakers and surely the best without their marquee player Anthony Davis. After losing 6 out their 8 games before the All-Star break, the LA Lakers look determined to change their form having won 2 games consecutively. Next up for the LA Lakers, they would be facing Minnesota Timberwolves. While the Warriors would face the depleted Houston Rockets.
