LeBron James is 40 and knows his time in the NBA will be coming to an end. His sons, Bronny James and Bryce James, are already on their respective basketball journeys, with the latter playing alongside their father as part of the Los Angeles Lakers, and the latter is about to start his freshman year in Arizona.
Bronny James endured a difficult and embarrassing start to his professional basketball career. Then, when he moved to the G-League, after an initial stuttering start, he performed well and soon became one of the best players in the developmental tier.
He posted his best game as a part of the senior side against a fully healthy Milwaukee Bucks, which silenced his critics. Now he is getting ready for his second offseason, where he will be looking to work on his game.
Bryce James, on the other hand, will hope to take full advantage of his upcoming freshman season with the Arizona Wildcats. He is joining a decent D1 program. Hence, he will need to fight for playing time. Knowing how the pressure will be on his sons, LeBron James tries his best to motivate them.
My message was to them, ‘Everybody’s road to success is different, so stay locked in and patient.’ That was my message to my boys last year.

The four-time league MVP sent his sons Derrick White‘s career path. From an unranked high school player who no one wanted to give a D1 scholarship, then had to play D2 basketball for three years, before joining Colorado, and is now an NBA champion. He believes everyone’s story is different.
Bronny James could have a breakout campaign
Last season, the Los Angeles Lakers used Bronny James to play garbage minutes. They knew the rookie would need time to develop and were willing to afford him that space. Now, after a decent debut campaign, they are hoping to increase his usage.
The 20-year-old displayed an astute sense of tracking the ball on defense. His statistics might not prove the point, but he was involved in disrupting opposition players. Along with his ability to bring the ball up the court, the Lakers have an inexpensive substitute point guard.
Considering how the franchise will be hard pressed to fill other positions of need, they can afford to let go of a guard or two from their roster and hand the baton to James Jr. With his father continuing to play next season, he will be advised appropriately.
All he needs to do is work on his separation and shooting efficiency. If he becomes the solid 3-and-D that head coach JJ Redick wants, the USC star could continue to defy critics and play professionally for a long time.
LeBron James back working out after knee injury
LeBron James is about to enter season no. 23. His previous season did not go as planned, as the No. 3-ranked Los Angeles Lakers crashed out of the 1st round. The all-time leading scorer also finished the playoffs with a knee injury.

After recovering over the past several weeks, the four-time champion is back working out. He paired up with longtime friend and former teammate Kevin Love to shoot baskets. The video shows him mostly working on his shooting.

He is not completely ready to start attacking the basket like he can. Such light workouts are the best way to get back into shape after sitting at home to rest his knee. James might ramp it up as the days go by as he looks to try and fight for another title next season.
