Carmelo Anthony‘s ex-wife LaLa Anthony‘s Winter Wonderland Charity event is an annual affair seeing its 7th edition this time around. The gala ran its regular course with the inclusion of around 400 children at the Gauchos gym in Bronx, New York. However, this year, LeBron James‘ wife Savannah James also graced her presence.

Carmelo Anthony and LaLa Anthony have been following this tradition for several years now where they cheer the kids with holiday spirits. The two are close friends with Lebron James and Savannah James, having had the latter’s company this year around. LaLa posted an amusing snapshot of the duo on her Instagram story sharing the time the two had with the kids. James reposted, showering love to their cause on her story.

The James and Anthonys are overtly close friends. The association majorly stems from both their children being indulged in basketball. Subsequently, both Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony are set to start their college next year. While the former has yet to announce his pick, the latter has decided to follow in his father’s footsteps with Syracuse Orange.

The event centers around the kids and spreading joy. Commenting on this year’s affair, LaLa Anthony revealed her plans. The TV personality had arranged performances, dance battles, and dinners for the group. Additionally, gifts and clothing were also involved. Son Kiyan Anthony also dropped by to contribute to the cheer.

NBA stars LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony were spotted linking up at the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. The two were accompanied by Savannah James and LaLa Anthony respectively. Both couples were present to support their sons Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony.

Both the teenagers played for rival teams Strive for Greatness and Melo in that order. The James and Anthonys met at the venue prior to the game. The group exchanged their greetings before heading to their seats.

Bryce averaged 6.9 points and 1.6 rebounds this season while Kiyan held the record of 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. LeBron James’ elder son Bronny James also entered the NBA in the 2024 draft as the Lakers’ 55th pick. The fans expect Bryce James to also play alongside the NBA MVP considering his longevity in the game.
