LeBron James has been through the good and ugly with Alex Caruso, and the duo have formed an enduring friendship. This was evident in how the Los Angeles Lakers superstar congratulated his former teammate after he got engaged. However, other NBA stars including Zach Lavine who was teammates with Caruso at Chicago Bulls, joined in to congratulate him too.
Alex Caruso, who moved in the offseason to the Oklahoma City Thunder, recently engaged his long-time girlfriend, Haleigh Broucher. The lovebirds jointly shared photos of the former’s proposal to the latter on Instagram. The Thunder guard then received plenty of best wishes from people for attaining such a huge life milestone. LeBron James and Lavine were among the most prominent personalities to send regards to Caruso. While announcing the good news on her page, Broucher wrote: “Forever kind of love”.
Other notable names include Orlando Magic star Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, former NBA champion Quinn Cook and Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Jared Dudley.

Caruso is a beloved figure in locker rooms due to his professionalism, work ethic, and team-oriented behavior. Aside from James and LaVine, Derrick Jones Jr., Andre Drummond, and four other former teammates of the Thunder guard, also sent in congratulations. The couple have been dating for three years, before deciding to commit fully to each other.

Alex Caruso recently opened up about how LeBron James made an impact on his career. Caruso was present in Texas for a golf tournament that will kick off the start of his charitable foundation. According to him, the Lakers star was the main figure who actually boosted his own confidence.

Caruso was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder by the Bulls, that was one of the best moves this offseason. The trade saw Josh Giddey go the other way to Chicago.
