Tonight Premier League will witness the clash between two of the best tactical minds as Pep Guardiola's City faces Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United.

The Premier League returns today and will see one of the best tactical battles tonight. Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in what seems to be a promising fixture. Manchester City will walk into Elland Road looking for a comeback after losing to Leicester City 5-2 in their last match.

The newly promoted Leeds United have had an amazing start to their new EPL season. They almost got the better of defending Champions Liverpool in their first match. After the defeat against Liverpool, Marcelo Bielsa managed to get 6 points from their next two games. Pep Guardiola will have to make specific plans heading into the clash to counter Bielsa’s aggressive style of play.

Predicted Lineups

Leeds United

Illan Meslier, Stuart Dallas, Liam Cooper, Robin Koch, Luke Ayling, Kalvin Phillips, Helder Costa, Ezgjan Alioski, Mateusz Klich, Ian Poveda-Ocampo and Patrick Bamford

Manchester City

Ederson, Benjamin Mendy, Aymeric Laporte, Ruben Dias, Kyle Walker, Rodri, Fernandinho, Riyad Mahrez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ferran Torres and  Raheem Sterling

When and where to watch

The match kicks off at 10 pm IST. The match can be watched on Star Sports Select 2, Star Sports Select 2 HD and on Disney+ Hotstar.

Just like the Liverpool vs Leeds match, a goal fest might happen tonight at Elland Road. But Liverpool managed to defend well in the dying minutes and they were also able to find the net consistently. But Manchester City who are defensively weak despite spending Millions will find it difficult to prevent Leeds from scoring which will put more pressure on their forwards.

However Pep Guardiola is as good as Marcelo Bielsa tactically. The former Barcelona player will definitely have some tactics up his sleeve to counter Bielsa’s tactics which he respects the most. Manchester City might get the better of Leeds with a score line reading 3-2 for Manchester City.
