There’s a reason why fans are so excited following Leicester City’s promotion back to the Premier League. The 2015/16 champions stole the hearts of many as they beat unbelievable odds to top the League table for the first and only time in the club’s history. From Jamie Vardy to Riyad Mahrez and Harry Maguire, the club has been home to several big name stars.

Rightly so, Leicester’s relegation to the Championship in 2022/23 meant that they found themselves far away from their glory seasons ago. Despite several players leaving the club, Jamie Vardy still dons the Leicester blue, and will likely lead their attack next season as they go head to head with the top teams in the League.

With 94 points from 44 games, the club have virtually booked their spot in the Premier League for next season. After a stellar season, Vardy led his team’s goal scoring charts with 16 goals.

The club scored the most goals in the competition while also managing to keep the best goal difference in the EFL Championship. Leicester finished 18th last season, where they were relegated alongside Leeds United and Southampton.

The Foxes, after spending a season in the EFL Championship are now back in the Premier League, and fans can’t keep silent about it. A fan lauded Jamie Vardy for not running away and helping his team gain back promotion at the age of 37.

One fan was so thrilled that he predicted Leicester winning the League title yet again! Many were of the opinion that Leicester were too good for the Championship and that it was fitting that they’re back. Others mocked how they somehow got relegated and came back before Liverpool could win another Premier League trophy.

A fan said that he couldn’t wait to see Vardy break the corner flag in celebration next season. Besides Vardy, fans praised the loyalty of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi for not leaving the club after they were relegated.

Rival fans mocked Arsenal, claiming that Leicester will lift another trophy before them as well. However, keeping in mind the competition in the League, fans prayed that they didn’t drop back down again.
