Leicester City vs Brentford: Leicester faced Brentford in Matchday 30 of the Premier League at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester scored a beautiful goal to open the scoring at the 20th minute mark. They doubled their lead at the 33rd minute with an even better goal from a set-piece. Brentford came back into the game by scoring one back at the 85th minute through Yoane Wissa. The visiting side tried their best to score another goal in the remaining minutes and salvage a point from the tie but couldn’t. 2-1 for Leicester City.

Kasper Schmeichel (7.3/10): Leicester City goalkeeper made an incredible save after the half time mark to deny Brentford a goal. A few good saves from the goalkeeper in the match. Looked confident claiming the high balls in his box. Constantly instructing his backline. Did not have to come out of the box much.
Çağlar Söyüncü (7.0/10): Did well to release the pressure from his team by making some important clearances. Very good passing accuracy. Tackled well in the first half. Kept his man in check during the opponent set pieces.
Daniel Amartey (6.9/10): The central defender looked solid. Accurate with his distribution from the backline. Blocked some opponent’s shots at crucial areas. Cleared the ball many times. Drove forward with the ball whenever possible.
Kelechi Iheanacho (6.4/10): Missed a great chance at the 52nd minute where he made a good run but finished the move miserably. Was not much of a goal threat but created some excellent moves for his team.
James Justin (7.4/10): Saw a lot of the ball in the first 45 minutes. Linked up well with Maddison in the right wing to create threats. Was average in physical battles. Was caught off position a few times but recovered well with his speed. Improved massively in the second half.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (6.7/10): The attacking midfielder was trying his best to make things happen and thus was attempting the risky passes. Created 1 great opportunity. Could have gone for the goal by himself at some instances.
Timothy Castagne (7.6/10): Brought into the side after a long spell in the sidelines and he showed up big time. The left back was bombing on overlaps and drifted inside as well. Got the first goal for his team with an unbelievable curler. Made some good tackles and hardly lost possession.
Youri Tielemans (6.4/10): Did not have any attempts with his long rangers as he usually does. Dribbled the ball elegantly. Was relatively quiet tonight at the midfield. Had a fair share of the ball though.
Nampalys Mendy (6.6/10): The holding midfielder was very accurate with his passing. Drifted to the wing region at times. Switched the play at times with his long balls. Committed a bad foul at the edge of the box.
James Maddison (8.1/10): Was constantly asking questions of the opponent’s defence. Scored a special goal from a freekick to double the lead for his team. Had a great first half where he hardly lost the ball. Very decisive and strong on the pitch. A good game for him.
Harvey Barnes (6.6/10): The winger made a lot of attempts to cut into the box with his quick feet. Got some crosses in which were straight at the opponent defender. Got the assist for the first goal of his team.
Substitutes:
Jonny Evans (6.4/10): Came on in the 64th minute and added energy to Leicester’s defensive game. Very solid at ground duels and made some noteable tackles.

Brentford
David Raya (6.2/10): Brentford goalkeeper looked very underconfident in the first half. Made no save in the first 45 minutes and conceded 2 goals. Claimed a few high balls well. Positioning could have been a lot better.
Kristoffer Ajer (6.7/10): Very good with his aerial presence. Could have closed down the spaces better. Did very well with the ball to get in a beautiful cross into the region for Jansson. Saw a lot of possession.
Pontus Jansson (6.7/10): The centre back was brave going into every second ball. Put his body into the line a number of times to deny Leicester a clear goal site. Did not lose the ball under pressure at the back. Almost scored a goal with his header after at the 51st minute mark.
Ethan Pinnock (6.4/10): The defender did his best at the backline. Was winning the second balls at the time when his team was under a lot of pressure. Saw a lot of the ball and was confident with the ball at his feet. Was yellow carded.
Rico Henry (6.2/10): Had the most number of touches for his team in the first half. A not so good display from him as he was beaten by Maddison a couple of times. Gave away the ball at bad areas of the pitch.
Bryan Mbeumo (6.4/10): Got the assist for his team’s only goal. Had 2 shots on target in the game for himself. Missed a great chance to score. Had 2 key passes to his name in the game.
Mathias Jensen (7.4/10): Looked decisive on the ball as he got in some great through balls. Switched the play many times and that sparked attacking moves for his side. Did his defensive duties too. A good game for the midfielder.
Christian Norgaard (6.7/10): Was probably the player with the highest number of touches in the game. Average at the midfield with his movement and decision making. Good passing range. He was fouled a couple of times.
Vitaly Janelt (6.6/10): Did not contribute anything going forward. Intercepted a ball at a very important place for his side. Made some tackles. Average display.
Yoane Wissa (7.4/10): Played a good game of football. Had a single goal on target which was a goal. Dribbled really well. Helped his fullback a lot defensively. Created 2 great chances for his teammates.
Ivan Toney (7.0/10): Released his teammate well down the left wing channel at the 29th minute mark. Showed immense work rate to drop down and distribute the ball for his wingers. Was fouled a couple of times.

Shandon Baptiste (6.8/10): Came on in the 56th minute and was energetic from the get go. Created 2 great chances for his side.
Mads Roerslev Rasmussen(6.6/10): Did a lot of side passes and backpasses. Not much impact on the game.
