Leonardo says PSG have not considered sacking Thomas Tuchel

Paris Saint Germain coach Thomas Tuchel is currently under immense pressure to deliver results. However according to reports the German coach has the full support of the club’s board.
Although PSG had a less than average transfer window, Tuchel is backed by the club. Recently PSG have not been able to deliver results but the management expects him to turn things around.
Thomas Tuchel looks set to stay at PSG
It’s no secret that Tuchel has immense potential under his belt. He guided PSG to the Champions League final but unfortunately lost to Bayern Munich. Nevertheless it was PSG’s best finish in the tournament. Club Director Leonardo has spoken on the current situation with Thomas Tuchel in a Q& A with PSG media channels.
With Tuchel, we had a discussion and said we didn’t like his statement. We spoke and now the discussion is clear to everyone. Afterwards, there are normal discussions.
“We discuss all the time about who is playing. The situation is clear for everyone. There are internal discussions. We discuss club life and injuries all the time.
Sometimes the discussions are more heated. It happens. The truth is that, internally, we never changed and tried to make Tuchel leave. We never called anyone. That doesn’t exist.
“The role of coach of PSG is envious. But the club never thought of another coach to replace Tuchel.
PSG have got off to a rocky start in this season’s Champions League having lost to RB Leipzig and Manchester United. The French side will hope to make a quick comeback to qualify for the knockout stages
