The Los Angeles Lakers have porched upon their 4th straight win since. Since the All-Star weekend, the team is high on a different vibe altogether. Once again the super star for the franchise, LeBron James successfully ended a crazy night. The team cruised a huge win today against the Charlotte Hornets. But he seemed very impressed with rookie LaMelo Ball’s game after the winning night. He praised the youngster for his standout performance and acknowledged him as a three tier game player.
LeBron James completed a successful night with 37-points as Lakers won 116-105 against Hornets. Other than LeBron, Dennis Schroder had 22 points. His quickness and accurate shooting earned Lakers an edge over their counterparts. On the other hand, rookie LaMelo Ball impressed everyone being the top scorer for Charlotte. Ball had 26-points to with 7 assist. James was in different mood, with his monstrous offence, he even contributed defensively with his signature chase down block. The king was seen chipping in words of praise for the youngster as well. He highly praised LaMelo for standing out with his performance.
LeBron James heaps huge respect for LaMelo ball and Lonzo Ball
James and Ball topped the scoring list on their sides respectively. James acknowledged that rookie was catching up with the intensity of the league pretty fast. He said, “He’s damn good to be his age. His speed, his quickness, his ability to you know make shots at all facets in the paint, floaters, threes, he has a three-tier already.” He added, “He’s going to only get better every game. It’s a learning experience for him. He’s going to get better and better as the season goes on, as his career goes on, and so on and so on so,” James said about Ball. “Him and [Lonzo Ball], they’re two just very unique players in our league and they showcase out every night.”
LaMelo Ball is living up to expectations of every NBA analyst. He has proved that he worth the rookie of the year trophy. He has impressed everyone. Currently the rookie is averaging 16 points per game and 6.2 assists. LaMelo is one of the key to Hornets’ playoff push and has been certainly displaying his skills to be named the Rookie of the Year.
