Truths aren’t always buried, and scandals have a way of clawing their way out of the grave when least expected. The latest victim in this unapologetic trend of life – when a subtle jab at a fellow panelist went sideways for Emmanuel Acho.
What started as a light-hearted studio debate over faith quickly turned into a moment of uncomfortable honesty on Speakeasy. When the panel discussed Skip Bayless’ criticism of Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter’s public baptism just hours before a game, LeSean McCoy shared that he had been baptized twice, most recently in 2018.
The conversation took a sharp turn when Emmanuel Acho, with a teasing laugh, quipped that McCoy had done “a lot of sinning” since then. Acho didn’t expect McCoy to hit back; even if he did, he didn’t expect the former running back’s comeback to pack such a punch.
Without missing a beat, the former NFL star shot back with a barbed remark aimed squarely at Acho’s own professional past: “Says the guy that did a lot of action at Fox, but we ain’t gonna talk about all that.”
Acho initially laughed, perhaps out of discomfort more than amusement, before trying to steer the show back on track. McCoy, however, wasn’t done. He continued dropping sly references to Fox, each digging a little deeper, while Acho’s composure began to fray. The live chat picked up instantly, flooding with laughing emojis and comments alluding to Taylor.
Despite Acho commenting that McCoy violated him by bringing that topic up, the show went on. However, the energy in the room didn’t recover. Acho’s tightened jaw and McCoy’s smirk said more than their words did.
The tension hit its breaking point when McCoy began talking about cheating on a romantic partner. That was when Acho’s composure finally cracked. “I’m tired of talking to y’all. I’m done. And chat, I’m tired of y’all too. I’m tired of this show. That was low,” he said, pushing back his chair.

He then accused McCoy of ruining the show and then stormed off the set, thereby ending their episode. But before he left, McCoy was able to put forth the name of a different sportscaster, Skip Bayless,
It was a biting remark, not only looping back to the original discussion, but also striking a nerve tied to the ongoing lawsuit filed by former FS1 hairstylist Noushin Faraji, in which Bayless was named. Despite the on-air implosion, the duo reunited for another episode the following Sunday evening.
LeSean McCoy advanced in HOF selection amid the Acho storm-off mess
Philadelphia Eagles legend LeSean McCoy is officially in the running for football’s ultimate honor. The franchise’s all-time leading rusher was named Wednesday among 52 Modern-Era semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026, to be announced February 5.

This marks McCoy’s first year of eligibility, and few résumés are stronger. Across 12 NFL seasons, the elusive running back amassed 11,102 rushing yards and 15,000 scrimmage yards, ranking among the most dynamic dual-threat runners of his generation. During his six standout seasons with the Eagles, McCoy totaled 6,792 rushing yards and 9,074 yards from scrimmage, earning six Pro Bowl nods and two first-team All-Pro selections.
McCoy joins seven other first-time candidates in the pool of 52 players selected from an initial list of 128 eligible names. The Hall’s 50-member Selection Committee will narrow that list to 25 semifinalists in about five weeks.
LeSean McCoy is one of only seven players in NFL history with at least 11,000 rushing yards and a 4.5-yard average. A six-time Pro Bowler, McCoy’s 518 receptions rank fifth among 10,000-yard rushers, and his 4.5 average surpasses 22 of 28 Hall of Famers. From 2010–2019, he led all players in rushing and scrimmage yards, cementing his status as one of the most consistent and versatile backs of his era.
