Kevin Holland and Israel Adesanya

Kevin Holland is the first UFC fighter to secure four victories in 2020; he is one of those guys who like to stay active. He is ready to fight anybody, anywhere, anytime in the Octagon. In this fight, Charlie Ontiveros served as a short-notice replacement to fight Holland. Holland was completely controlling this fight but the nasty second takedown that he attempted led to the stoppage.

The referee stopped the fight after Ontiveros verbally submitted with Holland later revealing that he heard his opponent saying that his neck was injured from the takedown. After the win, Holland wasted no time to turn his attention to UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya who was sitting aside the cage for the fights.

Holland has made altercations with Adesanya when he made his UFC debut and he wants to settle the beef one day with Adesanya. He pointed right towards Izzy and says, “I just don’t play those games, If you really want the smoke, let’s get the smoke”.
