Football is a violent game. At every position, there is a risk of getting hit in the sternum or the head. However, a select few players make it their mission to inflict pain, even if it means reverting to unsportsmanlike conduct and pettiness to achieve that goal.
Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders and the quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes fell target to a dirty hit from defensive end Dean Miller. In what went on to be a missed roughing the passer call on part of the referees, Miller can be seen taking a dive head-first right into the quarterback’s knees.
The play was criticized by fans immediately after it happened. It caught the attention of former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell who took to X to call it out.
one of the dirtiest plays i’ve seen in a long time .. players like this shouldn’t be in the NFL ever, kinda reminds me of someone else https://t.co/nEjhmHMncc

Bell refrained from mentioning who he was referring to but the comment section seemed convinced that he was talking about Vontaze Burfict.
The former linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals is a controversial player who continues to be known notoriously for his violent hits on offensive players. His infamous hit on Antonio Brown which led the wide receiver to lay on the field for a minute is likely to have resulted in a lot of harm as he was never the same after.
The Colorado Buffaloes lost to the Kansas Jayhawks despite a solid outing from Shedeur Sanders
Dean Miller’s intentional low blow on Shedeur Sanders was not penalized by the officials which is shocking. A replay from any angle will make it clear as day that there was unnecessary contact.
The quarterback is the most protected player on a football field yet players such as Miller take it upon themselves to ruin careers.
The Colorado Buffaloes lost 37-21 to the Kansas Jayhawks. Sanders wound up with 3 touchdowns and 266 yards. It was a frustrating loss as Colorado was the clear favorite to win heading into the game. This loss puts them at an 8-3 record on the season and now their odds of making the playoffs are in jeopardy.
