British legend Andy Murray and Liam Broady had a hilarious banter on social media over ‘breakfast.’ Both British men held no grievance against each other but sure let out some off-court information about how things run at the Atlanta Open in the USA.

Broady has been struggling this season with injuries and form and has only won five singles matches, including qualifiers. His best run of the year was at the Hong Kong Open where he reached the round of 16. After a disappointing first-round exit, the British player took part in the qualifiers at the Atlanta Open.

He played against big-serving Chinese J.C. Shang and eventually lost. Even before the loss, Broady didn’t get off to the kind of start he would hope for at a tournament. The 30-year-old complained on social media about the choice of breakfast served to players at the tournament. He complained about being offered bagels before a morning practice session.

First match at 10am today so have to warm up at 8:30. Breakfast doesn’t open till 9am? Walked into player area and we’ve got… bagels. Really good for a high standard of tennis and tennis tournament in Atlanta.

Murray didn’t hold back at his fellow countryman in his brutal sarcasm replying that Broady didn’t check about the breakfast situation like most professionals.

Hope you are ok mate. That sounds terrible. Surprised you hadn’t checked the breakfast situation ahead of time like most professionals would have done.

Broady fired back immediately saying that the British legend always had up to five people to check the situation for him in each event.

"You have five people just to wipe your b*m for you man you’ve never checked a situation ahead of time in your life we are not the same,"

Murray didn’t have the last words but left a simple fishing emoji for Broady to think about before his match.

However, he did play in the doubles alongside his brother Jamie Murray but their run ended in the first round. He was also given a befitting farewell ceremony.
