Mirra Andreeva steals one exercise from Carlos Alcaraz
Mirra Andreeva and Conchita Martinez cooled down with Carlos Alcaraz after her third-round win. The four-time Grand Slam champion was preparing to warm up for his third-round match against Serbia’s Laslo Djere.

Alcaraz congratulated the 18-year-old and the latter wished him luck for his match. Andreeva also watched Alcaraz’s drills with fitness coach Juanjo Moreno and revealed one exercise she wants to try with Martinez.
He has some nice exercises. We actually stole one already with Conchita juggling the balls. He does this one where he’s juggling three balls and his fitness trainer catches them. We stole that one, but so far that’s the only one so far!
Mirra Andreeva told Tennis Channel
Alcaraz, after overcoming some difficulties in the first set, knocked out Djere to reach the Italian Open fourth round for the first time in his career. The 22-year-old is chasing his third title of the season, after victories at the Monte Carlo Masters and the Rotterdam Open.
Before the Italian Masters 1000 event, he skipped the Madrid Open due to an injury he suffered during his Barcelona Open final against Holger Rune. The World No.3 will next lock horns with Karen Khachanov, against whom, he is 4-0 in the head-to-head encounter. If Alcaraz beats the Russian, he will reach the quarterfinals of all the nine Masters 1000 tournaments.
Mirra Andreeva is chasing her third title of the season
This season has so far been unforgettable for Andreeva, who is now bidding to win her third title in the last WTA 1000 event of the European clay swing. Her previous two titles too were WTA 1000 ones.

She lifted the Dubai Open by beating Clara Tauson (her fourth-round opponent at the Italian Open). Andreeva then clinched back-to-back WTA 1000 titles when she came from a set down to upset World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in the Indian Wells final.
On the clay swing this year, Andreeva has not yet progressed to the final, with her best performance coming at the Madrid Open where she reached the quarterfinal, losing to eventual runner-up Coco Gauff. Andreeva accomplished a feat after reaching the Italian Open fourth round.
She has now become the youngest woman to progress to the last 16 in Madrid and Rome in the same season. If she reaches the quarterfinal, she could get a chance to take revenge on Gauff. In the semifinals, the teenager is projected to meet three-time Grand Slam singles champion Sabalenka, who is chasing her fourth clay-court title and her first Italian Open trophy.
