Lionel Messi vs. Logan Paul war reignites as world famous bodyguard issues stern challenge
After Logan Paul accused Lionel Messi of trademark infringement and offered up a fight, bodyguard Yassine Chueko gave his take.

Influencer boxer and now successful WWE superstar Logan Paul has traded leather with quite a handful of names. The Ohio name is big among the TKO Group ranks and is finding his groove in pro entertainment wrestling. However, no one thought ‘Maverick’ would keep taking preemptive shots at Lionel Messi, of all people. Now, he has got an offer for a tint from Yassine Chueko.
Logan Paul’s Prime hydration with fellow influencer KSI has had its hits and misses. In the discourse, it has grown out to be quite the name, including a brand partnership with Barcelona FC. When Messi got to be the media face of White Claw hard seltzer’s Mas+, Paul slammed him on alleged product similarity. Now – Lionel Messi’s bodyguard – Yassine Chueko, who’s practically kin, doused some challenges for it.
Ah…Look. Leo – he doesn’t know who this guy is. So if he really wanna fight, he can fight against me. Not against a soccer player.

It’s highly unlikely the Inter Miami FC forward would hang up his boots and let his Ballon d’Or rust out for an exhibition fight with Paul. Just because Nate Robinson or Tyron Woodley did it does not mean he would. Even though Logan Paul has threatened to countersue. Hence, Lionel Messi’s bodyguard has taken up the charge. Unlucky for the wrestler, Chueko is combat-trained!

Chueko isn’t just some sideline entourage; he gets knee-deep into it. Other than a frantic pitch-invading Inter Miami supporter, no one has ever overcome or answered his tackles; something he plans to keep doing. He is an ex-Navy SEAL and is a tough cookie; if Logan Paul gets through his other adversities and the heckle of being a new dad, he has his work cut out for him.
Who is Yassine Chueko? Learn all about Lionel Messi’s super-shadow
What’s more viral than Lionel Messi scoring the equalizing point at 97 minutes against FC Cincinnati in the semis? His bodyguard sprinting even faster to deal with field invaders and hecklers! Part of his role involves running around the outside of the pitch and effectively marking Messi throughout the game. That, in turn, allows him to catch any pitch invaders trying to get close to the Miami captain.

His success in the private sector might was a surprise to those familiar with his impressive military record. But he does it diligently in this domain. Yassine Chueko came as a personal recommendation from Inter Miami president David Beckham. After the stint of safeguarding Beckham himself, Chueko joined up for a salary of £198,000 ($250,000) a year, according to The Sun. Now he protects Lionel Messi with zeal, like his shadow.
He used to be a Navy SEAL with active tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Per his account, he is trained in MMA, taekwondo and the standup art of boxing. Now inactive, his socials have snippets of him competing in regional leagues. A very old snap also places him with then-UFC champ Khabib Nurmagomedov at the Camp Nou stadium.
Chueko is widely popular on social media as well. Additionally, he has been on the rumor mill for multiple MMA deals. Including one MMA ambassador deal for My.Club. that went viral, for around £40,000 ($50,000)!
Inter Miami Director Jorge Mas to amp security around the star, despite Yassine Chueko’s presence
Inter Miami’s 3-1 win over AF Sporting San Miguelito saw a (friendly) invader finally outwit Yassine Chueko. Even though it was to embrace the superstar, this is a prime area for concern. While his arrival has grabbed the headlines, Messi’s high-profile move isn’t the only big-name signing for Miami. Former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba have also put some skin in the squad. Many big names are thus thrust into a spotlight like never before.

All of those security protocols are already prepared both [for] here and away, …And it’s not only for our games. It’s going to be an everyday occurrence and something we witnessed — and I thought handled very well when [Messi] was here with Argentina before the World Cup…
Jorge Mas to Miami Herald
Hence, club director Jorge Mas states that player safety of Lionel Messi and other names remain a prime concern. The next pitch disruptor might not have a slight hug in mind. Single bodyguards can only go so far amidst a crowd; Chueko headhunted many during the preseason tour. Enhanced stadium security is the only way to go.
