Jared Goff has officially joined the married men’s club as he tied the knot with his sweetheart Christen Harper in a beautiful, intimate wedding in California. 

The love birds had been engaged for nearly two years before they finally planned their nuptials at the Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, California while being surrounded by their friends and family and their dog, Quincy, on Saturday. The couple in fact walked together with Quincy, as a photograph captured the Detroit Lions star holding his lease. 

Harper was pretty emotional during the "I Dos" ... wiping back tears as she officially became Mrs. Goff.

The Lions’ quarterback wore a black tuxedo on his special day with a matching bowtie while his ladylove graced the aisle in a strapless white gown styled with a lace veil.

The love birds began dating back in 2019 and Harper had been with Goff throughout his journey with the Lions and how he established his place as a star player. The model went viral in 2021 for celebrating the Lions’ first victory around the same time when she was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue of that year.

This ceremony isn’t a surprise for the fans as Goff told People magazine that he planned to get married to the love of his life “this Summer” in California. The couple chose that place because both of them grew up there and have deep roots there. 

Lions reward QB Jared Goff with massive contract

The 2024 season seems to be of Goff, as he scored two playoff victories in the first month, followed by a lucrative contract extension which made him enlisted among the highest-paid quarterbacks of the league.

The three-time Pro Bowler signed a four-year contract worth $212 million with $170 million guaranteed last month. He received a $75 million signing bonus, which is the highest ever received in the NFL’s history. The Lions rewarded the quarterback for leading the team to the NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers. 

Receiving such a lucrative deal seemed superficial when the quarterback was traded to the Lions for Matthew Stafford. But he came through and finished last season with the NFC North title at a 12-5 record, having his then-fiance and now-wife Harper by his side.
