- Arnold reported the initial robbery and has not been charged with any crime.
- The NFL is monitoring the situation and will act based on the final police report.
The Detroit Lions fans will be delighted to hear that Terrion Arnold may not be involved in robbing an Airbnb after all. After reviewing all the evidence linked to the case, head coach Dan Campbell and President Rod Wood believe that Arnold did not play any part in it.
Arnold himself notified the police of the first robbery. High-end bags, guns, jewelry, a cellphone, and $100,000 in cash were stolen from the property. According to police records, Boakai Hilton was the mastermind who devised the entire plan. Christion Williams and Lyndell Hudson teamed up with Hilton to commit the crime.
Arnold reportedly rented the Airbnb for personal use. Shortly after, the place was robbed not once but twice. Police recovered messages related to the incident, which contained the Alabama alum’s name “a handful” of times. The police arrested Hilton, Williams, and Lyndell. Arnold wasn’t cuffed because, aside from those messages, they could not find sufficient evidence to prove he was present during the robbery.
Reporters asked Campbell about Arnold’s situation at the annual NFL owners meeting in Palm Beach, Florida.
We got all the information that says he wasn’t involved. That’s what we know, that’s all we know, and that’s really all I can say… As far as I know, it’s not a big deal. It seems like he still wasn’t involved with this.
Dan Campbell said (H/T: NBC Sports)
𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: Team President Rod Wood reportedly called Terrion Arnold into his office the day after allegations became public and “grilled” him about the situation.

Of course, Arnold’s attorney had dismissed the claims that his client was ever involved in such shady business. Timothy Jansen, representing Arnold, criticized the entire arrangement by calling it an attempt to “inaccurately characterize” the 23-year-old.
There are no text messages showing Mr. Arnold communicating with any individuals about this matter, nor is there any evidence suggesting his participation or involvement in the underlying events. Any implication otherwise is unsupported by the facts and unfairly misrepresents his position… We urge the public and media to rely on accurate, verified information.

Will the NFL take any action against Terrion Arnold?
The league has not been sitting around. Instead, they have kept one eye on the entire situation, waiting for the police verdict.

Depending on the report, the league is obligated to take action against Arnold. Considering the ruling is likely to go in Arnold’s favor, he might also evade any punishment from the league as well.
Well, I think you just said he hasn’t been charged. I mean, obviously, we’ve got to follow the facts… we obviously will follow up all of that and deal with it appropriately.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said (H/T: Sports Illustrated)
What Goodell tried to imply is that the league’s action will be based on the final police report. If the authorities don’t find him guilty, then he won’t be liable to receive punishment.
How did Terrion Arnold perform during his first two years with the Lions?
The Lions drafted Arnold 24th overall in 2024. During his rookie season, Arnold recorded 60 combined tackles, 10 pass deflections, and one fumble return. He was well on his way to repeat those numbers in year two. However, a shoulder injury ended his season in December. He played just 8 games, recording 31 combined tackles, 8 pass deflections, and one interception.
That first career INT is coming for Lions CB Terrion Arnold. On this play, he's comfortable using a trail technique with Kerby Joseph over the top. This puts him in a great position for any route that breaks in, out or back to the QB. #OnePride pic.twitter.com/ChyFf74JXD
