Find Out: List of Top seeds in WTA Italian Open 2021

The second WTA 1000 event on Clay, the Italian Open will commence from 10th May and will be the last big tournament before the French Open. And hence the tournament is the perfect opportunity for the players to prepare for the showdown in Paris.

Most of the players like Barty, Sabalenka and Mertens are in hot form and would like to carry the momentum forward in Rome. On the other hand, players like Osaka, Svitolina and Andreescu will want to find their lost form in this tournament.

16 out of the top 18 players will compete at the coveted tournament and hence the field is pretty tight. Ash Barty will come into the tournament as the top seed while 4-time grand slam champion Naomi Osaka is seeded second.

Simona Halep, Serena Williams amongst the top seeds in Rome

23-time grand slam tournament Serena Williams will be back on court for the first time since Australian Open and has been seeded eighth. Simona Halep and Sofia Kenin are the seeded fourth and fifth seed. Svitolina, Andreescu, Sabalenka, Williams, Pliskova and Bencic round the Top 10.
