Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio both walked out of SummerSlam as allies after Morgan defeated Rhea Ripley to retain her title. However, as a tag team, they suffered a loss against an unlikely duo after SmackDown went off the air. The team of Braun Strowman and Kairi Sane defeated the notorious duo in a mixed tag team match.
After the latest episode of SmackDown went off the air, Braun Strowman riled up the crowd and trolled Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. He demanded a tag team match with his partner, Damage CTRL’s Sane, who is now seemingly a face. The match began, and the Monster Among Men immediately started overpowering Dom.
In the final moments of the match, Strowman and Kairi Sane took complete control of their opponents. The Pirate Princess ended up pinning the current Women’s World Champion to secure the win. The crowd in attendance enjoyed the unusual pairing and loved seeing Morgan and Mysterio ‘get those hands.’
Since his return, the former world champion has been feuding with The Judgment Day. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been involved in the world title picture since his rivalry with Roman Reigns and the late Bray Wyatt. Only time will tell which direction the beloved Monster Among Men will take on the upcoming episodes of Raw.

Since the former NXT North American Champion helped Liv Morgan retain her title against Rhea Ripley, they have grown close. They have been openly expressing their love for each other on social media, and the WWE Universe is well aware of their shenanigans following SummerSlam. A similar situation occurred recently when they both sent heartfelt messages to each other.
The 30-year-old star took to X and shared a picture with her ‘Daddy’ Dom, captioning it “Mi Papacito.” Dirty Dom didn’t take long to reply, sending his love back with the caption “Mi guerita” which means “my blonde” in Spanish. They both wore Mysterio’s merchandise in the photo, further strengthening their connection.

It seems they have no regrets about their actions at SummerSlam and will continue to be a problem for Mami. The Eradicator may potentially get a rematch against her bitter rival in the future. Only time will tell how long Morgan can hold the title before someone takes it from her. No matter the outcome, there is no doubt now about who Dominik will be supporting.
