WWE traveled to Saudi Arabia for its annual Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on January 31, 2026, and the night began with the Women’s Royal Rumble match. As always, the match delivered a mix of major surprises and rising stars.

WWE Hall of Famers Brie Bella and Nikki Bella made their returns, while several NXT standouts, including Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan, and Women’s champion Jacy Jayne, seized the spotlight on one of the biggest stages of the year. When the dust settled, Liv Morgan emerged victorious, outlasting all 29 opponents to win her first-ever Royal Rumble.

Morgan now earns a championship match at WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where she will challenge either Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World championship or Jade Cargill for the Undisputed WWE Women’s title.

Entering at number 14, Morgan fought through half the field and finally achieved what had eluded her in past years. After finishing as runner-up twice before, the Judgment Day member proved that the third time truly was the charm, overcoming years of heartbreak to claim the biggest win of her career.

The final moments came down to Morgan and Tiffany Stratton in a tense apron showdown. Stratton had just eliminated Sol Ruca when Morgan delivered a stunning Oblivion off the apron, sending Stratton crashing down and sealing the victory in dramatic fashion.

Several other competitors made strong impressions throughout the match. Lash Legend enjoyed an impressive run, scoring five eliminations before being tossed out late by Rhea Ripley. The Aussie’s momentum didn’t last long, however, as Raquel Rodriguez eliminated her soon after.

That moment set up one of the night’s biggest shocks. After Rodriguez eliminated Ripley, she was betrayed by her own Judgment Day ally, Liv Morgan. The former world champion dumped Rodriguez from the match in a ruthless reminder that the Royal Rumble is truly every woman for herself.

Liv Morgan may have won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, but she did it in controversial fashion, taking what many would call the easy road by betraying her own Judgment Day teammate, Raquel Rodriguez.

The powerhouse looked furious afterward, and the moment immediately sparked speculation about growing tension within Judgment Day. Commentary teams Michael Cole and Wade Barrett even noted that the issue would likely become a major conversation inside the group moving forward.

Morgan addressed the betrayal during the Royal Rumble post-show following the event. The former Women’s World champion was clearly thrilled with her Rumble win and was asked directly about her decision to throw Rodriguez out of the match.

Morgan insisted there was no bad blood, claiming Raquel would understand the move, especially with her own title opportunity looming on RAW next week.

So I know Raquel Rodriguez better than anyone else on this planet, and if I know Raquel, she is not a selfish human being. She is the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship, and now I have an opportunity to win a championship as well. I’m sure she’s so happy for me because a win for one in The Judgment Day is a win for all.

With Morgan now holding the right to challenge the champion of her choosing at WrestleMania 42, the situation becomes even more intriguing. If Rodriguez defeats Vaquer on Monday night to capture the Women’s World championship, WWE could be setting the stage for a massive Judgment Day collision.
