Liverpool have been a class apart from the rest of the teams in Europe this season. Arne Slot‘s men claimed their 11th win of the season from 12 games played as they beat RB Leipzig by a solitary goal courtesy of Darwin Nunez.
The Reds went into the contest on the back of an emphatic win over Chelsea and maintained their perfect record in the UEFA Champions League on a tough away night at Red Bull Arena. Despite the score line, Leipzig put up an almighty fight on their home ground, as first-half statistics show that Liverpool came under significant pressure from the hosts.
The English side finally found the net through Darwin Nunez, when the Uruguayan popped up at the far post to guide the ball to an empty net. The No. 9 was at the right place at the right time to convert a Mohamed Salah header aimed at the far post.

Liverpool have backup keeper Caoimhin Kelleher to thank for the clean sheet as he made numerous saves in the game. The Irishman also made a number of errors, although they luckily went unpunished. Like Kelleher, Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi also made several saves to keep the goal deficit to just one.

Unai Emery‘s Aston Villa and Arne Slot‘s Liverpool are the only two sides in the Champions League with a perfect record. Liverpool are second in the table only because of their inferior goal difference. Fans took to social media to praise the Reds, with one stating that Slot has managed to silence his haters like none other.
Pointing to how Slot is the first manager to win his opening six away games, another fan stated that he is moving in silence and wants to make the results speak for themselves. Rival fans, however, were not convinced with the manager and his impeccable run till now.
