Liverpool FC: Jordan Henderson proves why he is the most important player for Liverpool
Andy Robertson (No. 26) has always had words of praise for Jordan Henderson

Captain

Liverpool released a new clip which focuses solely on its captain Jordan Henderson. The video shows how he leads the team from the front and motivates them. By now it is a known fact that despite all the injuries Liverpool is suffering from, nothing will be bigger than an injury to their captain. Akin to Steven Gerrard, Henderson leads fearlessly and inspires everyone around him. He is blessed in the fact that he doesn’t have to carry the team like Stevie G carried, but nevertheless is a wonderful captain like him.

Leader

The boy who was bought from Sunderland was on his way to be traded for Clint Dempsey of Fulham in 2012. But now he has risen to be the most important member of this Liverpool squad and has become Jurgen Klopp’s trusted deputy. He may not be flashy as other midfielders like Kevin De Bruyne or Paul Pogba, but he serves his duty well enough. He puts in a defensive performance in every match that one might wonder if he can become a defender. He pushes the team with his runs and the team is roused in that manner.

Legend

Jordan Henderson’s iconic shuffle celebration is now everyone’s favorite

He is the first English captain to get his hands on the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. Champions of Europe and Champions of the World, Jordan Henderson will forever be remembered as one of the best captains the game of Football has ever seen. The very next season he led the team to become the Champions of England. In the period in which football was suspended, he led a consortium of the other captains and raised funds for the NHS.

Liverpool will be lucky to have had two of the most inspirational captains in its team. Steven Gerrard couldn’t have given the captain’s armband to anyone better than Jordan Henderson!
