Liverpool set price tag for Colombian winger Luis Diaz as Barcelona keen to sign 27-year-old old

The January transfer window has already started, but Barcelona are making their plans to get the best signings in the upcoming summer transfer window. They have already identified their attacking positions as the areas to reinforce in the summer transfer window. Joan Laporta and Deco have been keeping tabs on Liverpool winger Luis Diaz for quite some time and want to sign him in the summer.
The winger has displayed his spark right from the time he arrived at Anfield. The Colombian international has been in sublime form this season and has 15 G/A so far. Arne Slot has used him quite well, and Diaz has been one of the best players under the new manager. Reports from Fichajes have stated that the Merseyside club want a sum of €60 million in order to sell him to the Catalan club.
He has a longstanding contract with the club till the summer of 2027 but has recently rejected the new renewal offer from Liverpool. So, doubts have crept in regarding the future of the left-winger. A move to other club can happen as well.
Reports stated that the offer from Liverpool was not seen as enough for Diaz. Some other reports even stated that his intentions and desire to play for Barcelona were the main reasons why Diaz did not accept the offer.

Diaz wants to play for a prestigious club like Barcelona, and this has attracted the attention of the management at Barca. They wanted to sign the winger in the last summer transfer window, but Barcelona were not successful in the attempts. Barca still want him as Deco is a big fan of the Colombian winger.
Liverpool considers him an important player in their project and won’t let Diaz leave for anything less than €60 million. Barcelona are going through financial problems and will have to make a lot of adjustments in order to sign Diaz in the summer transfer window.

Barcelona will need to sell many of their important players to make room in their wage bill to register Diaz. They have already had problems with the registration of many players, with the latest being Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.
