Arsenal hold on to a memorable 0-0 away draw against Liverpool. The Gunners showed great resilience after Granit Xhaka was sent off early in the first-half.

Ramsdale (8/10): A memorable clean sheet for Ramsdale. Nearly gave away a goal at the end.

Cedric (NA): 

Ben White (8/10): Compose evening from White. Being a man down did not seem to affect him.

Gabriel (7/10): Couple of nervy moments here and there from Gabriel.

Tierney (9/10): Solid performance from Tierney. He even created Arsenal’s best chance of the game which Saka should have scored.

Lokonga (8/10): Started the game poorly. Grew into it as the game went on. 

Granit Xhaka (1/10): Disgraceful from Xhaka, took himself out of the game with an early red card. He will now miss Arsenal’s next three games

Saka (9/10): Saka was a constant threat running at Robertson. Inspiring performance from the youngster.

Martinelli (8/10): A really mature performance from Martinelli. Was a threat on the break.

Lacazette (8/10): Proper captain’s performance from the Frenchman. Lacazette managed to hold the ball well on a couple of occasions.

Nketiah (2/10): Didn’t really do much wrong. However, found himself as the victim of Xhaka’s red and was replaced in the first half. 

Substitutes:

Chambers (9/10): Arsenal’s best defender by a mile. Chambers constantly cleared long balls from Liverpool

Holding (8/10): Holding used his ariel strengths to clear many threatening balls 

Nuno-Tavares (7/10): Had a chance to revamp his career after last disappointment. Saw the game out.

Allison (8/10): Made that crucial save off Saka. Distribution on point. 

Alexander-Arnold (2/10): Unusually poor game from Trent. He misplaced almost every cross and wasted a couple of corners.

Van Dijk (7/10): Had nothing to do most of the game. Was seen being nonchalant at some moments. 

Matip (8/10): His substitution was strange. Matip certainly had better moments than his partner VVD.

Robertson (6/10): Saka turned him inside out and came out on top. Didn’t really attack until the end.

Henderson (4/10): A really poor performance from Henderson. Had next to no impact offensively. 

Fabinho (8/10): Carried the midfield until he came off. Didn’t have much of an impact offensively.

Minamino (2/10): Passive throughout the game. Also, missed an open goal to win it for Liverpool at the end. 

James Milner (5/10): Standard 5 for Milner. He was bound for an earl sub after Arsenal went down a man. 

Jota (3/10): Not quite the evening Jota would have hoped. Struggle to take a meaningful touch in the game. 

Firmino (2/10): Similar to Jota but poorer. Firmino was invisible for most of the game.

Curtis Jones (6/10): Tried his best to rally the team for the first goal. Failed at the end.
