- Logan Paul backed out of a fight with Le'Veon Bell after the former NFL player accepted his challenge.
- Bell criticized Paul for wanting to fight a retired player like Tom Brady instead of him.
- Paul cited Bell's retirement status and lack of drawing power as reasons for declining the fight.
Logan Paul wanted to fight an NFL player, but when one actually wanted to fight him, the 30-year-old influencer decided to back off. Le’Veon Bell, a former NFL running back who transitioned to boxing, accepted Paul’s challenge.
Bell saw Paul mocking the NFL fraternity from his Impaulsive podcast and decided to take matters into his own hands. Right after Paul declared that he could easily defeat the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett, Bell stepped in to make his case.
Bell teased Paul by tagging him in a video of his 2022 bout with former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson. The clip documented Peterson’s desperate attempts to duck Bell’s killer right hook, which eventually knocked him out. Bell captioned the video:
STOP DUCKING, Logan Paul. bro tryna fight an NFL player that’s never fought before .. let’s set it up bro, we all heard you say you can beat any NFL player .. we can fight in April, the NFL draft is in PITTSBURGH .. we can fight NFL draft weekend! let’s make it happen.

The feud kicked off after a video of Tom Brady surfaced, showing the seven-time Super Bowl champion mocking Paul and the WWE.
Logan Paul is a b****. Just say he’s a b****. Come play with the big boys. You’re lucky you won’t get hit.
Earlier this year, Brady stopped by Paul’s podcast studio, where the two debated whether WWE stars are better athletes than NFL players. In response, Brady called the WWE “cute,” igniting nationwide criticism.

If any football fan wants to gauge Paul’s attitude, let’s just assume he’s CJ Gardner Johnson of the WWE. The man from Wastlake, Ohio, loves to trash-talk even more than his brother Jake.

Shortly after Bell tweeted, Paul posted a lengthy comment explaining why he couldn’t accept the offer. Paul’s first reason for backing out was that he wanted to fight an active NFL star, but Bell had already retired in 2021. Second, he’d need to train to prepare for the bout against Bell since he’s a pro boxer. And third, a match against Bell wouldn’t attract enough attention. Fewer eyes mean less money.
A.) you’re not in the NFL

B.) you can actually fight so I’d have to properly train, meaning I’d have to step away from WWE (which I won’t do, especially not for you)
C.) There’s no money here because you’re not a draw. Prove me otherwise
Ofc YOU want the opportunity, I’m a…
Instead of closing the chapter, Bell continued his verbal assault. Bell noted that Paul is ready to fight a 48-year-old Brady, a retired quarterback, but won’t get into the ring with someone who actually can counter a punch.
Lol bro you said “Tom Brady” who’s damn near 50, and he’s not NFL either .. if you don’t want the smoke, then just say that .. but everybody and they mom would love to see me smoke you in pittsburgh .. I promise you that.

Paul did not react to the Bells’ attempts to rile him up. He has remained silent since then. That said, he will likely fire back at some point of time.
