Having last wrestled for WWE in August, Logan Paul is gunning for a celebrity matchup next. Taking to Instagram Stories, the 29-year-old shared a picture of his comment on Bad Bunny‘s recent statement about returning to WWE. The singer-rapper told The Rolling Stone that he wants to wrestle one more match in WWE.
In response, Paul has asked San Benito to fight him. While The Maverick would fancy himself as more of a WWE Superstar than Bunny, the latter has what it takes. The Latin star has had some stints with WWE. His first-ever singles bout for the company came in 2023 when he beat compatriot Damian Priest at Backlash.
That all-round performance from Bad Bunny snagged him loads of adulation from the fans and people within WWE itself. Many even argue that he’s the best celebrity to have set foot inside the squared circle. On the other hand, Logan Paul wants to go all-in after juggling between his side quests and wrestling.
He’s currently listed as a member of the Raw brand. The former boxer received a lukewarm reaction from the crowd when he was shown in attendance at the Netflix premiere of Raw. Despite the continued rejection from the WWE Universe, Paul is hellbent on proving them wrong.
He’s claiming to be the face of the company but needs to show up first, as quipped on X by former WWE wrestler, Baron Corbin. Logan has been working a part-time schedule in WWE since 2022. Last year, he revealed via IMPAULSIVE that he intends to be more involved and has relayed his word to WWE CCO Triple H. Just maybe, he might get his wish in 2025.
Can the fans dream about Bad Bunny vs. Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41?
As mentioned above, Logan Paul wants to have a crack at Bad Bunny. The rapper doesn’t even have half the amount of matches under his belt as Paul does in WWE. However, the Puerto Rican artist has proved himself inside the squared circle.
If his schedule permits, he’ll be ready to compete in no time. However, as he told The Rolling Stone, he’s unsure of when stars would align for him to go back to WWE. That possibly means the ambitious Paul vs. Bunny match might not happen as early as WrestleMania 41.
In fact, WWE is in talks to have The Maverick challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight title at The Show of Shows. The fans are hoping that the company alters its plans as the social media megastar hasn’t done anything to earn a spot that significant.
