Logan Paul’s arrival into the wrestling world has been a fairly controversial affair. While many appreciate his incredible athleticism and character work, others believe that his past cannot be separated from the social media star. Meanwhile, others, such as Kevin Nash, are upset at the 29-year-old for being a celebrity wrestler in WWE.
Being the quick-witted social media genius that he is, Paul was quick with his response to the WWE Hall of Famer. He straight-up admitted not even being aware of who Kevin Nash was. He would go on to admit that his wrestling knowledge was perhaps not as strong as his peers. However, this has not stopped The Maverick from putting on incredible matches in the ring and being a great talker.
Logan Paul asserted that his lack of wrestling knowledge was never a problem to begin with. Despite not knowing as much about the world of professional wrestling, he boldly declared himself a top-five superstar in WWE at the moment.
F**k me? F**k you. You’re one of the old guys who is bitter that I am better at your job than you ever were, and that makes you pathetic. This will be my sport, and I will continue to make guys like you eat your words when I devote a little bit of time to it. So f**k me? F**k you.
Logan Paul on X to Kevin Nash
The former United States Champion said that his skill level was way above par despite not being a full-timer in WWE. He further questioned Nash, saying that if he put in the work to learn wrestling terminology, would that make him a legitimate champion in the Hall of Famer’s eyes?
Paul isn’t the only modern-day superstar that Nash has had problems with. The WCW legend also called LA Knight an inferior version of The Rock. It is worth noting that the 65-year-old eventually apologized to The Megastar after he castigated back.
What did Kevin Nash say to Logan Paul that prompted his heated response?
Logan Paul recently brought on Hulk Hogan for an episode of his show, Impaulsive. During the episode, the social media star admitted to not knowing what the term ‘shoot’ meant in a wrestling context. This prompted a response from Nash, who claimed that the 29-year-old was not one of the boys.
Nash claimed that Paul had no way of knowing what these terms meant simply because he wasn’t someone who belonged to the professional wrestling industry. Hanging around other guys in the locker room did not make him a part of them, added Nash.
From what limited knowledge Nash had, he said that Paul was making $5 million for performing on limited dates. Meanwhile, everyone else has to show up every week and even perform at house shows. The wrestling legend did not care how many followers he had on social media; he hated the SmackDown Superstar regardless.
