As the U.S. presidential elections draw near, both candidates are striving to make a lasting and positive impression on the American people. One of the candidates and WWE Hall of Famer, Donald Trump, survived a horrific incident today. During a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.
The current WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul, couldn’t help but speak about this matter on social media. He took to X and shared a picture of Donald Trump raising his fist after surviving the assassination attempt. Paul admired the WWE Hall of Famer’s courage to raise his fist after barely escaping death. The Prime owner also hoped that the shooter would be caught immediately.
Thomas Matthew Crook, a 20-year-old resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, was identified as the assailant. He fired multiple shots at the former U.S. President from the rooftop of a building 130 yards away from the stage. It is said that one gunshot clipped Trump’s ear, but fortunately, he survived thanks to the security forces.
To survive an assassination attempt by mere millimeter and then stop your security so you raise your fist in defiance of death is the most badass thing I've ever seen in my life. I hope everyone is okay. Find the shooter.Logan Paul on X
While Trump was saved, the same can’t be said about an innocent bystander who passed away and two others who were critically injured. The WWE Hall of Famer has been on many people’s radar due to his beliefs and the scandals he has been involved in. Needless to say, this will forever be one of the most historic moments in U.S. history.
Glenn Jacobs speaks in support of Donald Trump ahead of the U.S. presidential elections
After witnessing Donald Trump’s failed assassination attempt, Knoxville County Mayor Glenn Jacobs spoke about it on social media. The WWE Hall of Famer took to X and claimed that he wasn’t surprised at all. Kane has shown his support for Trump many times in the past.
The 57-year-old veteran told people they didn’t need to be surprised by what happened at the rally in Pennsylvania. He stated that, given many people’s comparisons of Trump to the ruthless fascist leader Hitler, it wasn’t surprising that someone attempted to assassinate him. Kane referred to the former U.S. President as the toughest man alive.
IDK, when you call a guy "Hitler" for years, you probably shouldn't be too surprised when someone tries to kill them.Glenn Jacobs on X
He also shared a picture of himself with a mustache, similar to the one the Nazi leader had, created by the opposition party. Their intent was to depict Trump as Hitler, suggesting that he would lead America down the wrong path. Kane was pleased with the support the WWE Hall of Famer was receiving and encouraged everyone to be as loud as they could.
