In Short
  • Logan Paul intercepted Joe Burrow during a flag football practice, surprising many fans.
  • Reactions were mixed, with some praising Paul's athleticism and others questioning Burrow's effort.
  • Paul claimed he could defeat Tom Brady in a ring in 20 seconds, continuing his rivalry with NFL stars.

Over the past month, Logan Paul has been claiming that WWE stars can hold a candle against NFL stars such as Joe Burrow and Tom Brady.

The latter was the reason this entire back-and-forth battle commenced, after he labeled WWE stars as ‘cute,’ essentially mocking the athletic capabilities of the entertainment-based sport.

Paul defended his side by showcasing how he can perform as well as NFL stars, and then threw in his highlights to make it clear that he can do more than what football players can.

Tom Brady did do his part to continue the mockery, but the part-time YouTuber held his ground, claiming he and his fellow WWE stars can do things that NFL stars could not.

Now, it was time to prove he was not all talk. In the first instance, it was nothing short of embarrassing after Saquon Barkley broke his ankles during practice.

Then, when he switched over to defend wide receivers, Logan Paul noticed where Joe Burrow’s throw was headed to, and sped up with his eyes firmly on the ball.

The 6’2″ part-time boxer then jumped on time to grab the ball with both his hands before it could reach Davante Adams, a player Burrow stated that he would have loved to play with.

Fans lose it after Logan Paul intercepts Joe Burrow

Football fans watching this unfold at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic practice were left confused. On one hand, many felt that Logan Paul stayed true to his words and intercepted arguably one of the better quarterbacks in the league.

On the other hand, some argued that Joe Burrow was not even throwing with the zip he usually does in competitive games. Check out examples of those varied reactions below.

Joe Burrow might have lobbed the ball a bit too easily in the air, making it easy for Logan Paul to track the trajectory and get his hands on them.

But for football fans, that is a loss, considering the sport’s top stars, such as the two-time Comeback Player of the Year, were supposed to give the WWE athlete a fitting reply for all his taunts.

Logan Paul claims he can beat quarterback Tom Brady in a ring in 20 seconds

While Logan Paul almost had a say in these practice sessions, football fans will be looking forward to how he fares on Saturday when the competition gets real.

In the meantime, the father of one was feeling optimistic about his chances. After playing defense for much of the sessions, Complex Sports asked him how long Tom Brady would last with him in a ring with him.

Tom Brady is not an athlete, he is a quarterback… Tom Brady in any combat facility, or ring, I swear to God he could not last more than 20 seconds with me. That’s no exaggeration.

Logan Paul replied

This might be a direct response to the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s darts about the lack of athleticism in the WWE. Even though the sport’s leading stars have stated that they can beat Brady, Paul’s comment suggests it could be a cakewalk for them.
