It did not take long for Logan Paul to call out Jalen Hurts following their showdown at the Flag Football Classic, where the WWE superstar recorded a sack over the Super Bowl winner. Paul taunted Hurts about the incident, suggesting that his actions might lead to a trade.
There was a lot of trash talk from Paul leading up to the historical FF event. The YouTuber-turned-wrestling star claimed he could take down any NFL player in the ring.
It began with retired NFL quarterback and flag football ambassador Tom Brady, then gradually spread across the league, drawing in former players like Rob Gronkowski, Le’Veon Bell, and others. Even with the heated rivalry between Paul and the football players, Brady and Fanatics still allowed him to showcase his skills on the field.
Paul found himself on the Wildcats FFC team with Joe Burrow and Davante Adams, while Brady and Hurts formed the Founders FFC. When the two teams went head-to-head, Paul sacked Hurts by grabbing one of the two flags tied around his waist. Paul took advantage of his achievement and nagged Hurts on Twitter.

Not Logan Paul. 😭 pic.twitter.com/KFKmERMJii
If you [Jalen Hurts] get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing, so I am sorry.

Logan Paul calls out Jalen Hurts and Tom Brady
Hurts tends to divide opinions, not due to his personality, but because of the way he plays the quarterback position. Even after winning a ring with the Philadelphia Eagles, pundits still question whether he truly belongs in the same category as Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow.

Sure, flag football is not exactly the NFL, but there are similarities between the two disciplines. Hurts mildly struggled to adapt to the pace of the sport. As a result, Paul managed to record a sack on him, and not only that, he deflected a pass that ended up being a turnover. In the very next play, Paul’s team scored a touchdown.

Of course, Paul had a bone to pick with Brady, given their rocky history. After Hurts, his focus then shifted to the Raiders’ minority owner. The 30-year-old began with an apology, but what followed was nothing short of condescending bravado.
I’d like to apologize to Tom Brady for applying so much pressure on you play after play after play that had you literally fearing for your life. I understand you’re older, it’s not like you could go anywhere, and you got frustrated, which is why you threw the ball at me, and I want you to know that I forgive you for that because that’s what real men do.
Paul said
This feud isn’t ending anytime soon, especially since Paul wrapped up his monologue with the very comment that started it all.
Lastly, I want to apologize to everyone who said that I was not a good athlete, because you all look stupid as hell right now. Thank you.
Paul concluded
In February, Brady went on Paul’s podcast, aptly named Impulsive, for a chat. The light-hearted encounter turned into a long-standing beef between Brady and Paul after the 48-year-old called WWE “cute.”
Paul countered by claiming that he can defeat any NFL athlete, past or present, inside the boxing ring. Bell, who took up boxing after retiring from the NFL, challenged Paul to a match. The match received a green light from both parties until WWE stepped in and urged Paul to back out. It has not stopped Paul from continuing to trash-talk, though.
