Commentators play a huge role in hyping up a match and providing relevant information. However, the commentators for King & Queen of the Ring, Michael Cole and Corey Graves, were involved much more than normal in the main event between Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes.

Despite promising to refrain from using brass knuckles in his match against Cody Rhodes, Paul pulled out a pair and intended to use them on the champion. Michael Cole called him out for this action, which led to the United States Champion snapping and a heated altercation between the two.

Cole reminded Paul of his promise, which further infuriated him. He stepped towards the commentator to seemingly put his hands on him. He even threatened to take his head off. However, Corey Graves came to the defense of his friend and stepped in between the two.

The former NXT wrestler restrained Logan Paul and told him to focus on his match. Regardless of the physical threats, Cole did not seem to back down. He continued to remind The Maverick of his promise and call him out for using underhanded tactics. The influencer finally stepped away from the scene, and the veteran thanked his partner for stepping up for him. 

Why did Logan Paul snap at Michael Cole?

During the build-up to the WWE Undisputed Championship match at King & Queen of the Ring, Rhodes repeatedly criticized Paul for taking the easy way out. He called out the social media star for using underhanded methods, such as brass knuckles, in his matches to win.

The WWE Undisputed Champion told his challenger on SmackDown that until he respected the business, they would never be on the same level. Paul clearly took these insults personally. He promised Michael Cole in a press conference that he would not be using brass knuckles in his championship match in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, he handed over the knuckles to the commentator.

Thus, Cole called him out when he whipped out the illegal object in his match, which led to him finally snapping. The heated altercation still did not stop the United States Champion from using his trusty weapon. He was able to punch The American Nightmare in his injured ribs with the brass weapon.
