Logan Paul trolls the Toronto Maple Leafs over their Stanley Cup drought after faking out John Cena’s entrance on SmackDown
In his second WWE appearance of the week, Logan Paul came out to John Cena's music and eventually trash talked about Toronto's NFL team.

What better to garner heat than trolling the Maple Leafs at the Scotiabank Arena? That’s exactly what Logan Paul did on SmackDown. The social media megastar had already ticked the Canucks off after pulling up to John Cena‘s entrance. He then mocked the locals for actually falling for it, as he deemed that Cena doesn’t care about them.
Once he was done unloading on the Peacemaker actor, Paul turned his attention to Drew McIntyre, who was standing beside the commentary table. The Maverick congratulated Drew for being back in his own territory, which baffled some as McIntyre is Scottish. However, Logan’s well-rounded joke made sense once he brought the Toronto Maple Leafs into the picture.
The former US Champion dumped on Drew for his incompetency in winning championships in WWE, just like the Maple Leafs, who’ve now gone 55 seasons without lifting a Stanley Cup. And it was enough to elicit a cascade of boos from the crowd. Apart from McIntyre, Paul also went after Seth Rollins.
The Ohio-born internet sensation called out Rollins for his quirky red attire, which CM Punk said looked like an oven mitt. Logan agreed with Punk’s judgment of Seth and even quipped that The Visionary was dressed as if he’d lost a bet. The IMPAULSIVE host then downplayed Damian Priest, saying he barely knew anything about him, which made the latter irrelevant to Paul.
Logan also downplayed Priest’s world title reign before circling back to someone he slapped right across the face on Raw this week—CM Punk. Paul questioned Punk how his jaw was feeling after that smack. The Second City Saint proceeded to make a beeline for Logan, but he retreated and backed off. That put an end to a nearly 16-minute promo train to hype the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
Does Logan Paul stand a chance at the Elimination Chamber?
Logan Paul earned his spot in the Elimination Chamber the hard way. He ousted a WWE Hall of Famer in Rey Mysterio to do so. But that was merely a warm-up. The real task lies in getting the better of a star-studded field including John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and Damian Priest.

The winner will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania 41. As much as it appears unlikely at the moment, Paul does have a shot at upsetting his opponents.
Earlier this year, a report claimed that WWE was indeed considering putting The Maverick in a world title match at The Show of Shows in Las Vegas. For Logan to get there, he’d need a lot of resolve.
