In January 2024, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, alleging assault, trafficking, and emotional abuse. The suit claims McMahon coerced Grant into a sexual relationship, shared explicit material involving her with WWE staff, and trafficked her to a wrestler later revealed to be Brock Lesnar.

The lawsuit also alleges that in 2021, McMahon and former executive John Laurinaitis assaulted her at WWE headquarters. Following the allegations, McMahon resigned as executive chair of TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company. Grant further claims she was pressured into signing a $3 million non-disclosure agreement in 2022 to conceal the alleged misconduct.

McMahon has since denied all accusations, calling them replete with lies. The lawsuit, along with a separate federal investigation launched in 2025 into undisclosed hush-money payments, has significantly impacted his legacy. The civil case remains ongoing, with continued legal efforts to move the matter to arbitration.

Despite the controversy surrounding McMahon, Logan Paul said he believes the former WWE chairman will eventually return to the company and be inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame. Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul discussed several WWE-related topics during a conversation with rapper Lil Yachty

The discussion eventually turned to McMahon when Lil Yachty asked whether Paul believed McMahon would ever receive a Hall of Fame induction.

Yeah, he’ll definitely get inducted. I also have a weird feeling he’ll come back. I think he’d get an insane pop.

Lil Yachty then brought up John Cena, saying he hoped McMahon would appear during Cena’s retirement moment at Saturday Night’s Main Event on 13 December 2025.

Bro, I thought John was going to walk through everyone, and then Vince was going to come out at the end and like hug him.

While several wrestling personalities have speculated about a possible return, WWE creative is currently overseen by Triple H, who serves as the company’s Chief Content Officer.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has recently faced growing criticism from the pro wrestling fan base for a variety of reasons. Although ‘The Game’ was initially viewed as a savior in the summer of 2022 after former WWE CEO Vince McMahon stepped down, that honeymoon period appears to be long over.

Many fans now believe he has struggled creatively in recent months. The backlash became especially noticeable at Saturday Night’s Main Event 42 in December, where Triple H drew loud boos from the live crowd after fans witnessed John Cena tap out to Gunther in Cena’s retirement match.

On the latest episode of Impaulsive, Logan Paul came to Triple H’s defense, arguing that the WWE creative process is far more complex than fans realize. Paul’s guest, rapper Lil Yachty, echoed that sentiment, saying it was unfair for fans to place all the blame on the 14-time World title holder.

It’s also not his fault. I’m telling you as an insider, it’s not his fault, like zero percent. It’s human nature, unfortunately, [for people to put blame on someone]. Like, how easy is it to just assign blame? Assign blame, ‘It’s your fault, we hate you.’ When in reality, most situations have a lot of nuance.

Following Cena’s shocking tap-out loss at Saturday Night’s Main Event, fans inside the arena repeatedly chanted “you f*cked up” at Triple H. The WWE CCO appeared to brush off the reaction, leaning on long-standing wrestling traditions, but the criticism has continued, both from live audiences and across social media.
