Serbia’s Novak Djokovic is a 17-time Grand Slam champion. While the 33-year-old is most well known for his finesse skills in tennis, he is very devoted to helping those in need. The Serbian has engaged in countless philanthropic gestures, which are carried out by his own Novak Djokovic Foundation.
Engaging in charity work is at the core of the World No.1, who has helped many, especially in one of the toughest years the society has faced. Citing the festive season, Nole’s foundation undertook the task to provide cheer for various children in Serbia’s hospitals.

Paralleling the spirit of Christmas, the Novak Djokovic Foundation has become Santa Claus for those in need. It has committed to renovating hospital rooms and to distribute presents to children.
On Twitter, the Novak Djokovic Foundation updated, “Ho-ho-ho, Merry Christmas NDF family! This holiday season, we decided to surprise children in hospitals with renovated rooms and playrooms, so their lives can shine a little brighter. We’re looking forward to seeing the smiles on their faces!”
After having another great year in terms of results, Nole will next appear at the ATP Cup. He led the Serbian team last year to win the tournament’s first edition. In addition, the tennis ace will then open the bid for his 18th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, which is scheduled to start from 8 February.
