With the Los Angeles Lakers now staring at an early playoff exit, fans and analysts are wondering what the team needs to do in order to save their season.
One set of fans thinks that the rest of the players need to step up if they are to defeat the Denver Nuggets. However, fans in the Crypo.com arena started chanting against head coach Darvin Ham.
At the start of the 2nd half, it seemed that the Los Angeles Lakers had figured it out. However, the reigning champions turned on the afterburners and dominated the 3rd quarter to command a decent lead.
Then in the 4th quarter, the Lakers tried to start a rally of their own, only to be matched toe to toe by the Nuggets. That is when as per reporter Jovan Buha, a section of the fans started chanting.

The fans were seemingly losing patience as they stared at the early conclusion of their season. The hopes of the Lakers fighting for a title seemed to drown with every second.
Notably, this is not the first time that Darvin Ham has come under scrutiny from Lakers fans. After all, he did help lead the team to the Western Conference Finals last year. But who else other than the Denver Nuggets can stop that run?
It seemed as if fans thought that Darvin Ham had no answer on how to combat the reigning champions. After all, this happens to be the 11th straight loss against the team from Mile High City. Suggesting that Ham does not know how to beat them.

However, basketball fans were not happy with the way the Los Angeles Lakers fans were chanting for Darvin Ham to be fired. The most-storied franchise in the NBA has faced injuries and rotational issues throughout the year. Therefore, they feel the blame should not be squarely on Ham.
Therefore, as soon as Buha broke the news, basketball fans jumped onto social media to call out the Lakers fan base. Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:
With game 4 coming up on Saturday, Darvin Ham will have to figure out how to get the better of the Denver Nuggets. Otherwise, in all likelihood, the entire basketball world will join the Lakers fans in calling for his head.
