Louis Rees-Zammit is officially a Swiftie. The Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back was recently seen attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour when she performed at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

On Saturday, Swift continued the tour of the British Isles, stopping at the capital of Wales. While the pop icon played her latest hits from 1989 and The Tortured Poets Department, a grateful local lad making it big in the NFL was grooving to the sound of her music.

Louis Rees-Zammit a rugby prospect from Wales, who the Kansas City Chiefs selected earlier this year through International Pathway, attended the Eras Tour concert with his brother.

Zammit shared a video in which Taylor Swift can be heard singing ‘Love Story.’ He also shared a screenshot from the event on Instagram.

Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce is already part of the Zammit bandwagon but advised the 23-year-old to have patience. Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner has been around for a while and revealed that the jump from Rugby to football will be tough at the start.

It's gonna be a humbling experience at first. It's not easy to just make that jump. But he is an athlete, and that's what the Chiefs saw. [He's a smart kid, a smart player], so he's going to be able to pick up the offense eventually.

Louis Rees-Zammit’s jersey is selling like hotcakes

The primary focus of selecting players through the International Pathway Program is to spread the game to new regions. Football was already popular in England, but the NFL committee aimed to expand into neighboring countries as well.

Louis Rees-Zammit’s inclusion among the reigning Super Bowl winners became an international talking point. His jersey sales since have skyrocketed and is only behind that of Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother, had already predicted that Zammit could be a global sensation in one of the episodes of their New Heights podcast.

I’m excited… With a smile like that, this guy [Zammit], if he works out, he’s gonna be the most marketable player of all time, look at that face.
Jason Kelce said

Apart from trying out at running back, the Chiefs could also use Zammit as a returner for the special teams. Assistant coach David Toub voiced the same.

They’re all out there working on returns… before and during practice, we’ll just see what his feel is and where that goes.
David Toub said.

Zammit is bound to get some reps in the new season behind starter Isaiah Pacheco. Training ground videos have already shown how fast and nimble he can be.
