The Los Angeles Clippers have been climbing up the ladder steadily. They have gotten past their rivals Los Angeles Lakers and the surprise element Utah Jazz. They have kept their place on the top tier intact and will be looking to continue the same. The unsaid rivalry between the LA Lakers and the Clippers gets intense every time they the tussle for spot arises. To this battle, Skip Bayless is another critic who always stands to criticize LeBron James no matter what. This time it’s against LA Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard.
NBA analyst and critic, Skip Bayless leaves no opportunity to come out vocal against LeBron James. Even on situations where LeBron outscores everyone and seems invincible, Skip has a word or two. During the pre-season, the Clippers played awfully. Their team was plagued with injuries and lack of form. However, their superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George seem to get back their primes respectively. They gave recently been performing outstandingly to every opponent. Despite Lakers’ struggle to be the champions, Skip doesn’t seem to be silent.
LeBron James is nothing compared to Kawhi Leonard: Skip Bayless
Although the Clippers lost in the playoff last season, analysts never seemed to back down. Skip Bayless always finds a way to prove LeBron isn’t the GOAT. He said, “Kawhi Leonard is making 91% of his free throws (78-86). LeBron is making 71% of his (85-120), up from 69% last yr. and 67% the yr. before. How can you call yourself the GOAT when you’re such a lousy FT shooter??? Think of the thousands of points he has cost his team over 18 yrs.”
Kawhi Leonard no matter what is a good shooter in the league. And comparing him to LeBron is not justified. Especially in the free throw shooting. LeBron was never a great FT shooter. However, he is trying to improve. With a lot of season still left, it is tough to pick the favorites.
