The Boston Celtics once again got the better of the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Finals, needing just one win to win the NBA title. The Celtics now lead the series, 3-0 after their recent Game 3 win against the Mavs. However, to everyone’s surprise, with 4 minutes left in the clock in the 4th quarter, Luka Doncic got fouled out. In addition, Doncic has been in the headlines for his poor defensive record in the NBA.
Game 3 of the series took place at the American Airlines Center, and the Celtics won 106-99 despite a fierce late push by the Mavs. Luka Doncic was fouled out with less than four minutes remaining, which prevented the Mavs from completing the comeback, despite the team cutting a 21-point advantage to as little as one in the fourth quarter.
Doncic’s poor defensive record also came to light on a recent post on X after getting fouled out with many fans taking to social media to put forward their views. Doncic will undoubtedly be upset at the loss at home and will want to turn the course of this series.
