The Dallas Mavericks are on the verge of watching their dream of winning the NBA title get crushed at the hands of the Boston Celtics. However, the Mavs’ star man Luka Doncic remains hopeful despite his side being 0-3 down in the 2024 NBA Finals series. In addition, Doncic shared his views ahead of Game 4 in the pre-match press conference.

Also, in the pre-match press conference, Doncic admitted that the example he gave was from the regular season, and it did aid in the team’s unity and chemistry-building before the playoffs. Hence, Doncic and his side will hold onto their beliefs even though it won’t be simple. Especially, with the Celtics just one win away from winning the declared NBA title.

Just like we did before. In the regular season, there was a time we were very low. I think we lost five or six in a row, and from there we went up, I think we went 17-2 to get into the playoffs. I know that is the regular season, but it was the kind of point we all came together and the chemistry from there went to the top.

He went on to talk about the belief that has been keeping them optimistic ahead of Game 4.

Luka Doncic and his Dallas Mavericks side are one loss away from losing the NBA Finals. Interestingly, Doncic is known for his late comebacks in the sport and his past relations with Real Madrid are a clear example of that. Notably, Doncic also spoke about his Madrid DNA after his side’s win against the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the NBA Playoffs.
