Los Angeles showed a lot of grit in their game against a solid New York Knicks lineup. Although both of the team’s All-Stars, Luka Doncic and LeBron James, had 30+ point nights, they gave all the props to their guard off the bench, Gabe Vincent. ‘Vincent Van Doe’ really stood tall under pressure, sinking 4-of-4 of his three-point attempts.
During the post-game media conference, the team’s new face, Doncic, gave his teammate all the credit. According to the Slovenian star, Vincent’s three three-pointers in the fourth quarter to cut into the double-digit deficit were the key turning point of the game for the Lakers’ roster.

In only 22 minutes of court time, Vincent ended the night with 12 points. He also grabbed one rebound and dished out an assist. As a role player, he played his role and was acknowledged for his contributions by none other than King James.

And I thought our bench gave us a great lift once again and Gabe was — I’ll single him out — he was spectacular. His play both on the defensive end and obviously his shooting, we needed it.
