Former NBA Player Robert Horry suggests Luka Doncic is not in the best shape possible. Dallas Mavericks might have not had a deep playoff run in the last season. But are surely one of the most efficient teams offensively, all thanks to their marquee player Luka Doncic. After missing the playoffs for 3 consecutive years, Doncic has surely led the side in ecstatic fashion last season, making them at least break their playoff jinx. If you look at players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lebron James etc, they have achieved a great physique and possibly thrive on the court because of it? Is it the same case with Luka? Possibly no.

However, former Seven-time champion, Robert Horry has opened up about how Luka has shown up for the 2020-21 campaign. According to Brad Townsend, Horry stated, “Right now, if you watch Luka play, is Luka really in shape right now? He doesn’t look like he’s in basketball shape. His wind is not there. His body’s a little fluffy.”

Recently when James Harden appeared for his for his first pre-season game, the player was fat-shamed all over social media for gaining more than 30 pounds. It clearly shows how important it is for every fanatic and supporter to see their idol fit and in the best shape possible. Doncic is expected to carry the torch left behind by Dirk Nowitzki in Dallas. But the fact that Doncic still went onto score more than 30 points in the first regular season game against Phoenix Suns in remarkable.

It is safe to say that his dominance won’t change a bit. The Mavericks are still one of the favorites running for the title this season, and so far, everyone can see them landing a spot in the playoffs with ease.
