Over the first 24 minutes, the night showdown stood up to the hype, presenting two teams with real hopes of winning the NBA championship. However, Lakers star Luka Doncic stole the limelight, unfortunately in this case, as he got hit in the head ‘twice.’

After the Celtics forward bounced off the hoop after a dunk, he got a knee from Al Horford to the moneymaker. In addition, after a minor offensive foul against Jaylen Brown, the officials overturned the call due to a coach’s challenge.

In a viral video posted on X, Doncic can be seen getting smacked on the head by Brown. However, the referees took no action.

It appeared that Doncic escaped any significant injuries in both cases, given that, Doncic did not argue much about this and continued with his usual performance. It was apparent how important this meeting and game were to Brown. He was constantly bugging Doncic. His focus is on the defensive end. Doncic thought the same thing. At halftime, the home team led 58-54 thanks to a dunk from Jayson Tatum. LeBron James finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Tatum scored 22 points.
