The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the in-form Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Playoff Finals. Notably, the Mavs’ star players Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic were outclassed by Timberwolves’ star duo Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. However, apart from all this, a particular incident involving the Mavs’ Maxi Kleber garnered much attention from the NBA community during Game 4.
Maxi Kleber made his much-awaited return from a shoulder injury in Game 4 against the Timberwolves. Interestingly, during the middle of the game, the Mavs’ players, Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, P.J. Washington, and Derrick Jones Jr. were forming a huddle, with Kleber’s attention somewhere else. This triggered his teammates and they started yelling at Kleber to join the huddle.
This moment quickly went viral with many NBA fans reacting to it on various social media platforms. Despite the Mavs losing in Game 4, they will be focused enough to get the job done in their next matchup.
On the other hand, the Timberwolves’ squad was determined to not get swept off in this playoff series. Timberwolves’ star man Anthony Edwards was at his flying best against the Mavs. Against the Mavs, he finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
Kyrie Irving comes in support of Karl-Anthony Towns despite losing Game 4
In a fiercely contested Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Dallas Mavericks 105-100, keeping their hopes alive. Interestingly, Kyrie Irving of the Mavs came in support of the Timberwolves’ young star, Karl-Anthony Towns despite being on the losing side of the game.
Irving in a classy message claimed that Towns is a great player despite all the unfair criticism he has faced.
