Luka Doncic is now in the Los Angeles Lakers facilities as he comes to accept the fact that he has left Dallas behind. Now as he acclimatizes with his new surroundings, he has to figure out a place to stay and even work on his chemistry with his new teammates.
The 25-year-old superstar has been with the Dallas Mavericks for his entire NBA career. Since he was the face of the franchise, he was completely invested into the community and was looking forward to signing that monstrous $350 million contract that he was eligible to sign in the upcoming offseason.
But now, not only has he lost more than $100 million from that possible deal, but he also has some money invested in properties in Dallas. Former Mavericks star Chandler Parsons was speaking on Run it Back on FanDuel TV and revealed this.
This dude just bought a $15M house, just closed like last week in Dallas. Apparently, he cried when he found out.

Luka Doncic already has a $2.7 million mansion on his name in the city. If he did purchase a $15 million mansion as an upgrade, then now he is left with two homes in Dallas worth nearly $18 million in combined value unutilized.
He will have to sell those down the line as he looks towards a life in Los Angeles. As the face of the Lakers, he will be the focus of everything purple and gold going forward. Which means, the focus will shift to the five-time All-NBA guard‘s lifestyle that Dallas fans were accustomed to all this while.

Usually, Europeans in the NBA do not show off that much. Their culture does not rhyme with flamboyant purchases or an extravagant material possessions-based lifestyle. The likes of Nikola Jokic is a prime example. He prefers to keep matters low in America but owns horses and a farm in Serbia.
