For Anthony Davis, the past few months have remained an emotional rollercoaster. An abdominal injury he sustained during his last days as a Laker forced him to miss a few games. Rob Pelinka dealt him to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic in a blockbuster deal without warning while he was still recuperating.

Davis eventually made his Mavs debut on February 8. This was after he recovered from the initial shock. However, he faced another serious setback when he got injured again. In addition, Davis had to worry about his family in the midst of all of this mayhem. Thus, he sought assistance from Doncic. What is the most difficult adjustment for Davis since the trade? The Mavs star recently opened up about it.

The only thing I’m not happy about is that I can’t find a damn house in Dallas. I’ve been looking since I got there and I can’t find the house. So, me and the wife trying to figure everything out, but actually Luka told me it took him two to three years to find a house. So, I’m not trying to wait two or three years. I got kids.

Davis and his household are still looking for a permanent home in Dallas. This revelation comes after almost two months following the shocking trade. The seasoned forward reached out to Luka, who had already gone through the same procedure.

Aside from this, with Anthony Davis back in the starting lineup, the Mavericks have recently rediscovered some life. With eight games remaining, they are 3-0 in the games he has played and are almost certain to qualify for the Play-In Tournament. As for Doncic and the Lakers, they are battling it out for a top 5 seed before the end of the regular season.

Chandler Parsons made an interesting revelation regarding Luka Doncic’s ‘Dallas’ house

When news revealed on February 2 that Luka Doncic would be departing the Dallas Mavericks after seven years with the NBA team, basketball fans went into a frenzy. Now, Doncic who did not know anything about the trade till the end was searching for a permanent house in Dallas. In the end, he struck a $15 million deal, according to Chandler Parsons. However, he got traded days later.

This dude (Luka Doncic) bought a $15 million house, just closed, like, last week in Dallas. Apparently, he cried when he found out.

Chandler Parsons said on the Run it Back podcast

Parsons did not provide any details regarding the house that Doncic allegedly bought. Only one property, a four-bedroom house in Dallas’ Preston Hollow suburb, had Doncic’s name on the deed. Now that he is a Laker, it is uncertain if Doncic will sell the house or keep it, along with any other homes he may have recently bought.

Luka Doncic had a ‘clear’ message after the Lakers’ loss to the Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers lost twice against the Chicago Bulls in 2-3 days, with the latest defeat coming on Thursday. Lakers star Luka Doncic was unhappy. He did not play at his best in the defeat to Chicago, even though he finished with a terrific performance with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists. After the game, Doncic gave reporters a clear indication of how this loss felt.

It’s hard to lose like that. We had basically had the game in hand. When you lose like this, it’s hard, especially in a back-to-back. I think we fought hard. It’s hard to lose like that.

In addition to how painful this loss is for Los Angeles, the Lakers are in the midst of a fierce competition for seeds in the Western Conference. The Lakers are now 44-29, two games clear of the Play-In Tournament. The Houston Rockets are currently three games ahead of the Lakers for the second seed, which makes LA’s hopes of reclaiming that position as a concern.
