Luke Combs, known for his country music, recently gave his audience a hilarious surprise during his two-night Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour. It appears he brought in the losers of his fantasy football league on stage on a bet to make him sing live in front of a packed stadium.
Although the fantasy football leagues are beginning the draft process, Combs’ league is still not over the punishment for the losers of last year. It appears during his performance in Cincinnati, the country music singer found the best punishment ever seen in fantasy football.
Lucky for me, there was a scoring issue in the last game, and my two best friends in the whole world both lost. And they both have to come out and sing in front of you guys tonight.Luke Combs said
As bizarre as it may sound, it wasn’t actually a surprise to the losers as four-time Academy Award winner revealed he and his best friends have been in the same fantasy football league for over a decade now, and last year, they made a bet that whoever will lose, would have to go on the stage and sing with Combs as the punishment during his Tour.
Luke Combs makes losing buddies sing “Walking in Memphis”
Sporting blue suede shoes, two men who get on the stage alongside Combs also didn’t have the option to pick the song they’ll sing. The band then began “Walking in Memphis” by Marc Cohn and they had no other option but to sing.
Come on out here, fellas. Don’t be shy. Come on out. I want everybody to get a little…stop right here for me. I want everybody to get a nice at their blue suede shoes, because these boys are about to be walking in Memphis. Come on.Luke Combs said to his two friends who lost in his league
One of them swiftly got comfortable with the crowd and enjoyed himself by catwalking and working with the crowd. Combs’ other friend took his sweet time but then, he also channeled the country folk inside of him and enjoyed the bizarre yet hilarious moment on stage.
