This week, WWE made several roster cuts, releasing both former champions and rising stars. Among them was Isla Dawn, who confirmed her departure via an Instagram story. In response to the news, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria shared an intriguing message wishing Dawn’s future beyond WWE.

Taking to X, Valkyria sarcastically referred to Dawn’s release as “good news” for the locker room. She praised the 31-year-old’s unmatched charisma, stating that it made competition difficult for others. Valkyria then wished luck to the future locker rooms where the former Women’s Tag Team Champion would undoubtedly assert her dominance.

Dawn had been with WWE for eight years, signing her contract in late 2017. During her tenure, she captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside her close friend Alba Fyre, holding the titles in both NXT and on the main roster. With her 90-day non-compete clause in effect, it remains to be seen where the 31-year-old will land next once her WWE obligations conclude.
