Gymnastics may not be part of the Winter Olympics, but that did not stop Simone Biles and her boyfriend, Jonathan Owens, from supporting the US contingent participating in various events at Milan 2026. Cameras followed the world-renowned gymnast and the NFL DB as the pair hooked up with other familiar faces.
Among them were ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates. Chock shared a couple of photos of the encounter on her Instagram.
It was Chock and Bates’ fourth Olympics together. They aimed to bow out on a high note by winning the gold medal, which eventually went to France’s Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron.
While rumors have floated about Chock and Bates possibly retiring after 15 years worth of memories on the ice, they have yet to put a seal on it. If Milan is their final act, they will have won three world championships and seven national crowns, as well as their second Olympic team gold medal in this year’s tournament.

Owens returned the favor to Biles by tagging along with her to the fashion capital of Italy and shout for their compatriots. While hanging out on the streets where Armani and Moncler set up their flagship stores back in the day, they survived a robbery attempt made on them.

Owens picked up his phone and shared his experience on X.
Not somebody just tried to snatch my shopping bag in Milan, force of habit i had it tied around my hand so he couldn’t get it and took off running immediately….but still crazy.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens moved back to Houston
Biles and Owens met when he was still part of the Texans. Ahead of the 2023 season, the pair got married and moved to Green Bay, where Owens signed with the Packers. They were back on the road a year later. This time, Owens signed for the Packers’ NFC North rivals, the Bears. Biles took a break from gymnastics after a successful haul in the 2024 Summer Olympics, winning four medals, including three golds.
They rented a property in Illinois. Owens played two years in Chicago. Last season, the Bears qualified for the playoffs but lost 20-17 to the Rams in the divisional round. As the curtain fell on his career in the Windy City, Owens and Biles returned to Houston to organize their newly completed lakefront mansion in Spring, Texas. In November, they revealed that work on the property had finally been completed after more than three years.
This leaves Biles and Owens in a state of limbo as far as their future state or city of residence for the upcoming season is concerned. That said, this also gives them ample time to enjoy some downtime together and perhaps hop into the jet once more and go for a second honeymoon.
