Carmelo Anthony rips Scottie Pippen over his GOAT pick
Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen has turned into a laughingstock after his petty remarks about former teammate Michael Jordan went viral. During his appearance on the PBD Podcast, Pippen made numerous shocking statements regarding the GOAT debate.
When Pippen was asked about his pick for the GOAT, he chose Magic Johnson over the usual contenders, LeBron James and Michael Jordan. This has sparked a heated debate among sports analysts and fans, who are now dissecting his words and the reasoning behind his comments. On the latest episode of the 7PM in Brooklyn Podcast, Carmelo Anthony, along with his panel, weighed in on the Scottie Pippen situation.

Fed up with Pippen’s media antics, Melo called out the former champion for his frequent flip-flopping. Highlighting how Pippen initially picked MJ as his GOAT before switching to LeBron James a few years later—and now claiming Magic is the real GOAT—Melo exposed Pippen for constantly changing his tune.
While the backstory behind the animosity between Pippen and MJ is still obscure, the rift between the two continues to grow. In his interview, Pippen also proclaimed that MJ is a “very difficult person” to deal with and that he and MJ were never “great friends.”

After $TRUMP coin hit a mind-boggling $72 billion market cap in an unprecedented span of only two days, investors and Donald Trump supporters took to Twitter to show their appreciation and gratitude to the 47th president of the United States. Among them was crypto beginner Scottie Pippen. Pippen posted a picture of Donald Trump holding wads of cash, asking his followers to caption it along with the question: “What are your thoughts about it?”

The picture symbolizes the newly amassed wealth following the super surge in the meme coin. However, critics of Trump have pointed out the “predatory” actions by the Trump Organization, which holds 80% of the token supply. On top of that, the ethical implications are complicated for a president-elect launching and promoting his own cryptocurrency.
Interestingly, Pippen has also been promoting his own meme coin since last year, called $BALL. The token is linked to a tokenized NBA Finals Game 5 ball from the Bulls’ first championship trip. Today, monetizing one’s likeness is the name of the game, whether it’s through a podcast, merch, or sponsorships.
